Global Climate Strikes are back! Make plans to participate either online or in-person on Friday 19 March. Here’s how:
- Find a FridaysForFuture event near you and, if it’s safe to do so, join the strike!
- Pray for the strike by using the Laudato Si’ Lent prayer guide and by participating in Friday’s live Stations of the Cross, which will be live-streamed on the Global Catholic Climate Movement’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
- Inspire others by sharing your thoughts and photos about the Global Climate Strike on social media, using #ClimateStrike and #LaudatoSiGeneration. You’re encouraged to use our free resources here and below.
I act for the climate because Creation is a gift!! Remember: the Earth can only care for us if we care for the Earth.

- Make plans to lead your community after 19 March by becoming a Laudato Si’ Animator! Sign up here. Animators receive the tools they need to lead their communities and take action for God’s creation, and they connect with like-minded and passionate people from all over the world. Don’t wait to register as the free training begins soon!
- Join this movement’s journey of hope and participate in Laudato Si’ Lent. By committing to concrete changes, we’re reducing our ecological footprint and inspiring our sisters and brothers around the world to join us in this conversion process!
